The aim of this project is to use the existing competencies of three higher education institutions in Estonia, Norway and Denmark in Information Technology to develop the field of teacher education and IT education at the same time by advanced collaborative means.

Project purpose in details:

• To further develop IT and Teacher Education curricula in participating schools with use of collaborative technologies in education;
• To enhance the collaboration of Teacher Education and Information Technology departments nationally;
• To encourage international communication and cooperation in the field of Educational Technology;
• E-course development, subject development, module development through uses and tools of ICT and collaborative technologies;
• Greater knowledge of ICT possibilities for teacher students, greater variety of use for the skills of IT students to ensure collaboration between two fields of study;
• Enhancing the students’ knowledge and skills in using ICT and collaborative technologies in their work as teachers, critical sense to evaluate the technological tools, ability to choose suitably.
